Whoever heard of such a thing? We are much more than
an adoption agency; we are a ministry! We are a ministry that
helps potential adoptive families, young women and their
families navigate the process. We have seen that elsewhere, it
is a complicated, self-centered, and an expensive process. We
have chosen to make it simple: “It's all about the children.”
Who we
are . . .
ANTIOCH ADOPTIONS is a licensed, “no fee” adoption agency.
Our mission is to find homes for orphan children in our area and
assist families in need of the financial means to adopt.
Antioch Adoptions has three main programs: The Moses Project
reaches families and prepares them to parent infants or children
in need of homes. Our Second Step outreach helps women and
families facing crisis pregnancies to walk through the decision
making process in pregnancy. Adoption Encounter is an
educational program designed to increase the awareness of
schools, churches, and community members about issues in
adoption.
Our
Mission Statement: To place infants and children regardless
of ethnicity, age or special needs into loving Christian
adoptive homes, and to remove barriers to adoption -
financial, perceptual/and practical.
The
children we serve are local infants and children currently in
the custody of the State of Washington and infants relinquished
privately for adoption.
Adoption Fees: None, nothing, nada! Our services are
funded by donations. However families involved in private
adoptions are responsible for their own attorney fees.
Type of Families: We seek loving Christian families in
Washington State who are willing to be thoroughly prepared to
transform their families and seek abundant life through
adoption.
