We Have Cut Our Expenses!
Our budget for the 2009-2010 fiscal year was estimated at $61,000, based on last year's expenses. However, we'll end this month having spent less than $56,000 this fiscal year. Thanks to our regular supporters, local churches and our volunteers at the end of 3 years of operation, Antioch Adoptions Wenatchee is actively in the business of, "Making Family a Reality for Every Child."
There is one thing we can be sure of: we are doing work God wants done. If you'd like to join us in sharing God's heart for the fatherless and would consider partnering with us financially, feel free to let us know. A monthly donation of $100, $50, $25 or even $15 a month to Antioch Adoptions Wenatchee is tax deductible and your contributions STAY RIGHT HERE IN EASTERN WASHINGTON.

Antioch Adoptions Wenatchee Fund Raiser!
The Director of Antioch Adoptions Wenatchee, Mike "Maddog" Magnotti, does a radio talk show at 1:00 PM every Thursday and Friday on Wenatchee's only all news and talk station, KPQ, 560 on the AM dial. On his show, "Street Talk and Other Stuff," Mike discusses everything from local and national politics, conspiracy theories, how to save money at Christmas time and even provides advice to the lovelorn! Mike likes to brag that his talk show is the 2,733 most listened to talk show in the United States, with 15 faithful listeners.
Mike is providing his faithful listeners (and potential listeners!) with the opportunity to show their support for the show, let the world know they listen to cutting edge talk radio and help raise support for Antioch Adoptions Wenatchee.

On July 7, 2010, Antioch Adoptions Wenatchee will be celebrating our 3rd anniversary of working to "Make Family a Reality for Every Child." In our first three years, Antioch Adoptions Wenatchee has facilitated ten adoption finalizations. Two infants and eight former foster kids are now "sons" and "daughters," all in permanent, Christian homes. We also have two young toddler boys both from the foster care system, currently placed in Antioch homes whose adoptions will be finalized within the next few months. AND, two more infant kiddos from foster care are also placed in Antioch homes; these kiddos' legal situation will soon be decided.
While we will continue to work with all families who seek our services, we have to recognize the changing face of adoption in our society. The "orphans" of America are "foster kids," and the primary mission of this office will be to recruit, train and support families who will open their homes to these older children. Contrary to what might generally be believed, older children may be less challenging and no less rewarding than babies.
